Soul Shine. Poetry From Picture Challenge.

All poets we invite you to enter our
"Soul Shine" Spring Poetry From Picture Challenge.
This is one for this forum.
This challenge is open to all poets.

What does the picture show? How can you show movement,
music, soul, shine, emotion, personality and african dancing you may have seen at a tap show or night clubs, either back in the day or present day.

We want entries that unravel the view of the picture,
and creatively weave the meaning or the words, "Soul" and "Shine" in the poem.

What does the picture below inspire you to write?
What do the picture show you or unviel.
Let the photo lure you in and tap into your creative mind.
Poem can be hip-happening, down to earth, musical, what ever you prefer that relates to the photo in some way or free just like the people in the photo.

1st Week Of April. Selected Read

Soft-Shoe By Roadpan

Sunset Maiden, plant a kiss,
Flocculent, in middle of chest
To tap a bit of soft-shoe and gently rattle
Ivory from bone, warmth from marrow;

Tomorrow shall envy today’s slow horizon.
The moon will plume itself
In a wide, white gaze and utter
Not a single breath of fog to conceal this.

When eyes behold morning’s first yawn,
The world will share in the making of
A new heart opened vast through hues
Copious but indiscernible in the pulse:

Iris of Iris rises to meet pale reflection—
Madness turns myth turns flesh—of honesty
Where day finds love most tolerant
As it trysts night’s newfound momentum.

Welkin hearkens with each pastel buss,
Rousing dusk to ensphere the pilose floor
So dance purdures every era and wrought age
Till lips trail raspberry to ravage the sky.

Red Tape By Poeticpiers

Dilapidation and decay
are in control of grim back streets
and things grow worse each passing day.
A history of past defeats
have overruled all efforts made
by anyone who chose to try
their enthusiasm fades,
Bureaucracy the reason why
The regulations seem designed
to hamper all development
Officials seem to seek and find
a way to block all good intent.

Planning departments cannot plan
but interfere with those who can.
